"Raise" 2011

XX Prize for Poetry and Story in the Venetian dialect.

COMPETITION
Within the events of "May Arquatese" in 2011, the Administration and the Public Library organized the XX edition of the Literary Prize "Raise", dedicated to poetry and narrative (real life, stories and vanities), written in Venetian dialect.

The Prize is awarded all writers of Venetian roots, even remote, living in Italy or abroad.
Papers, unpublished, new and ever awarded in this competition in others, must be received no later than March 20, 2011
(as confirmed by the postmark), to Raise the Prize, in Castle, No.2, 45031 Arquà Polesine (Rovigo). The membership is free and free.

Texts, in seven anonymous copies, must be accompanied by a sealed envelope, unmarked, containing: a copy of the signed text, as well as in print, author's full name, social security number, date and place of birth, address, telephone. Personal data of candidates will be protected according to the law 675/96 on privacy, as amended.

Each contestant may submit no more than two texts for each section: 40 lines maximum per poem and two A4-size paper for each prose. Facilitate the work of a jury or a translation glossary.

Entries will not be returned. The Administration reserves the right, without notice and compensation to the author, the right of broadcasting and print the winning entries will be published and reported that, as tradition, in a free volume.

The awards, to the Jury, will be assigned as follows: First prize

poetry and prose prize "Raise 2011" : 600 € each;

Second prize and second prize prose poem "Raise 2011": 300 € each;

Third prize and third prize prose poem "Raise 2011": 150 € each.

(Premiums paid will be subject to withholding tax or payment in accordance with Art. 30 of DPR 600/73).

There are also, at the discretion of the jury, with other sections of reports and awards for works of particular merit. Prizes not collected in person or by proxy, the date of award, shall remain the property of the City of Arquà Polesine, promoter of the Prize. The winner

Poetry and Prose of absolute sections of the competition can not compete for the prize for the next two years. The winners will be notified and reported to the telephone of the competition.

All participants are cordially invited to the ceremony of honor awards ceremony in the medieval castle, the town hall of the City of Arquà Polesine, Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 17:00.
