Next Day Knee Pain From Jumping

Cycling from Vienna to Zagreb 3

rid of all

The alarm soon enough. Like every morning from here in the next few days preparing our bags and load everything on the bike. Francis is incredibly slow, has its own rhythms and between one thing and another about an hour goes by when he gets up. But I do not mind waiting for a way to spend your time is forever.

at 10.00, following the classic initial uncertainty to find the right way, we leave Bratislava and we take the path that will lead us to number 6 in the Magyar land. The sun is already high and cook, heat is hot, the sky is clear, even on the horizon a cloud. Dozens of cyclists who crossed, then rollerblading and other people who are jogging. Reflecting is Saturday morning and the inhabitants of the Slovak capital are enjoying a fantastic day on this amazing road ...
We are surprised, happily surprised. We did not expect and could not even imagine. The path that leaves the capital is transformed into a genuine two-lane highway with lots of guard rails, signage and asphalt perfect. A hand side is a narrow lane which is reserved for the classic track bikes. An instant reasoning leads us likely to believe that it is a road now closed to traffic and become the realm of slow mobility.

I can not keep up with him, let him go, a shot of adrenaline and pride. Francis is on the run, went to the wheel of a cyclist pedaling but overtaking us with ease despite the more than 30 hours. We meet a little later, we slow down the pace, and enjoy the scenery. Meadows and woods around us.

Suddenly a lake, our eyes would shine and the heat oppresses us. Dozens of people on its banks and also here, as in Vienna, we find that most are completely naked. Brakes, go back and decide to stop. We are looking for something a little 'isolation, a strange sense of decency prevents us to put us close to others. After an initial embarrassment and cries of "but who cares" put off getting rid of everything and we dive into the water enjoying some well deserved refreshment.

Take a ride after a pleasant stay is always difficult, especially when your skin begins to toast under a relentless sun. Suddenly the path stops at a crossroads and take the wrong course. We continue along the river blue but going for this route will never reach the border Magyar. It goes back, more lost valuable time which added to the long break, we will once again arrive late at your destination. On the other hand, the beauty of traveling by bike is that too often it is precisely the unexpected encounters that give wonderful.

This year we decided to take shorter steps, which will prove to be completely wrong, leading to various destinations in decent time that would allow us to appreciate the different places. Even today we will arrive at nightfall.

Again, a border state of neglect, the Customs is now stuff of yesteryear. We enter the Hungarian land and luckily, after a few hundred meters, leave the state immediately 150 following the signs to the circuit EuroVelo 6. Entering the village turn Rajka.

The small square gives us the first encounter with the most valuable asset a human being. We meet the first fountain blue, a color that we learn to distinguish good and that will give us now on a great joy. It will be the first in a series of fountains, with a pump to let out the precious liquid, which we find to be disseminated throughout Hungary, even and especially in small villages and towns that we will have to cross.

claims for the cycle track, represented by an unmistakable signal green and yellow, lead us to divert to secondary roads. No lane reserved for two wheels but with little traffic and roadways in poor condition. There are holes everywhere, crossed the asphalt cracks prevents us from walking on the edge and forces us to become masters of the street.

cross one after another, tiny villages, many have a common prefix of the name originates from the Danube River flowing nearby. We continue to the east, the arrival is still distant.

Lipot, a huge parking lot full of cars, we do not understand why. A small village of about 500 souls, but here today there will be hundreds if not thousands of people. We stop taking advantage of yet another fountain, curiosity and a good opportunity to rest. We read the signs and find that here there is a very important and famous spa. A series of swimming pools is located behind the walls and the gate that stands before us.

again, but now our attention is captured. Loud music, a busy hum of background, the smell of grilled delicacies. In the small park that overlooks the center of the village is doing a party. We park our race cars and we snuck a look.

We are less than 30 km from the finish daily. After the village of Hedervar find the path. The track for the bike runs parallel to state that even begins to be popular.

As always happens, the closer you are to your destination and more there seems to go away. To cover this short distance we use it a long time. Stops increased dramatically and my butt begs for mercy, would stop and move on. The pain is almost unbearable and the relief granted by the break only lasts a brief moment.

With hardly notice it but we are in Gyor, "finally." We venture looking for a student residence and summer should also work from the hostel. We turn around to the buildings but there is no trace of entry. We ask, someone does not know, others tell us that we continue to surround the building. We take a small road that takes us inside the complex. A huge courtyard, a small bar and some shops, second hand access.

goalkeeper speaks only Hungarian but with simple gestures and few words we can make ourselves understood and to have a room for two. But the obstacles are not finished. We have not florins with us and so off in search of a change. Incredibly, I can not find an office, I walk all the way and when I come across one of these the sad discovery. Saturday afternoon is fully closed. We are thus forced to withdraw money from ATMs.

In the lovely room we draw the balance of the day. 98 km route in 5 hours and a quarter to an average of almost 19 km / h. We are pleased, proud of the performance even better than the previous day. We have to continue like that, because now we should try to reduce downtime due to the numerous, albeit brief, that we allow ourselves pauses. On the wings of enthusiasm and narrow the pangs of hunger we are reaching the old town.

By now the darkness has fallen on us, we decided to postpone the cultural aspect in the morning, for now the priority is food. Some restaurant, several bars, but not what we, unfortunately, no "restaurant" that serves traditional economic.

We go behind a crowd of young people, the smoke rises in the distance and on the banks of Raba, a turnout of the Danube, we find there a party. A sort of summer festival of sport, there are banquet food and a giant screen that is screening the match for third place. It 's true, do you had forgotten, but there are the World Cup.

Grilled meat, a kind of strange but good pizza, I would not know how to describe ice and Dreher. Lying on the grass look at the Germany beat Uruguay 3-2 unfortunately. After having wandered a little 'looking for a fun place where we stop in the former market place to chat a refreshing granita.

The are tired and under pressure of Francis decided to return even though it is only midnight. But right next to our hostel there are a local. He forced him to enter. And 'situated on the Danube or to be precise on a side branch. We enjoy a beer while admiring the beautiful river from the tables that follow still for two days. The thoughts and fly with them my imagination, it would be nice to accompany him to the Black Sea

Nissan Xtrail Roof Rail

Cycling from Vienna to Zagreb 2

A CYCLE TOO PERFECT
The station platform is Meidling Vienna now deserted. We were only three of us involved in the assembly of the bike. The mountain bike Fabrizio is a true spectacle, a means of high-level confessed that he paid "only" 600 € thanks to incentives.

Being in Austria, you realize it right away. As soon as we find out immediately a bike path. Beautiful, clean, perfect. The smooth road without cracks or holes. We follow the directions, our destination is Stephans Platz. The intended route for cyclists never abandons us. The Viennese pass us by all parties, here the bike along with metro and train stations is the most common means of transport ....
The beautiful Gothic church is again in front of my eyes. Ten years ago the last time I was here. I reflect on the inexorable passage of time. "Started getting old" is what I think. But nothing seems to have changed in my mind, once again ready to take a trip and all that entails. Hundreds of thousands of adventures and encounters.

After a photo of Fabrizio ritual salute. We are about to leave the city of musician for a pleasant and lively Bratislava 93 km along the bike path along Europe's most celebrated, the one parallel to the Danube.

The sun is at its maximum height. We head east in search of the watercourse. We can not see it but we know it is there, beyond the buildings and the railway that runs alongside. We are now at the edge of the city. Here it is, finally a bridge, past the railway headquarters and find ourselves on the river bank.

A dam, right huge railway goods yard that serves as a logistic center. Fortunately, the iron is preferred here to use road transport. A bridge and find ourselves on the other side or what we think. But no. We are on an island in the vast river. We see men and women in water, others for sunbathing and here's the surprise. They are all naked, and, unexpectedly, we are in a sort of nudist beach. We continue with some embarrassment, spinning on our way with no or almost distracting.

Finally, here it is, after losing about half an hour we have embarked. The path that will lead us to the Slovakian capital. The sign lists the various distance and number six in the European circuit EuroVelo that will take us up to Budapest. Packed with hot dogs and beer in one of several kiosks located along the route. There are two young British company who make our own way.

The fund continues to be good, grind miles and we have sown the subjects of his majesty. The sun baked our faces, we begin to take the typical tan cyclists or even bricklayers. There we should get used because the heat and the sun never abandons us during the trip.

The long bridge never seems to end, the majesty of the river is impressive. We come the pretty Hainburg an Donau, Bratislava in the distance, less than 20 km. The cycle is interrupted, continue on Highway 9 for a while then there it is again. We will pass by cultivated fields and the railway that catches my attention. Single circuit track, look at the contact line and suspension ... small professional bias.

On our right is the old border, now abandoned. It has a certain effect to see a customs which was the iron curtain to lie in a state of disrepair. Without even notice it but we are in the Slovak Republic even if the road makes us feel this way. The latest effort is to cross the bridge again and then we are in full center.

Housed in a lovely hostel and after a refreshing shower we deserved the initial calculation. We are pleased to have ended the stage in just over 5 hours with an average of 18 km. Better than what we expected. Are you a good morning starts in the morning that we could not improve.

Use the bike lane was nice and safe but that did not allow us to get in touch with local people to pass through tiny villages, to meet unexpected despite the dozens and dozens of cyclists cross. Today has certainly been useful, but from tomorrow we will evaluate whether to proceed or continue on the highways.

The day draws to a close, we leave for excursion to the city. The narrow streets of the old town and the pleasant tree-lined Hviezdoslavovo, the castle and the port of San Michele, a short time but we can see everything.

dinner with local beers and tasty bryndzové halusky, the legendary dumplings served with goat cheese and Lardini abbrustolini, which for years was hoping to stay. Next to us two Germans who will guzzle beer, a chat and a drink with friends then we give ourselves in front of a local event to end the evening, but we meet again.

The music blaring out, take part in the nightlife on Friday night in and out by the various disco pub close to each other. We are just very bad athletes, or rather I have seen that I have to convince Francis to do later. For some, however, leaves me overwhelmed by sleep and fatigue. At about 4 I also decided to return, in a few hours awake and many miles ahead.

Pokemon Vba Blue Cheats

ciclomundi

The past weekend, with much pleasure and interest, I was able to participate in the third edition of ciclomunci, the national festival of the trip by bicycle.
The event, which took place in the beautiful setting of the town of Siena, with the participation of many travelers and writers. Many interesting meetings organized, too bad you could not participate at all due to the contemporary. Sure to highlight the event with Wu Ming2, Enrico Brizzi and Fioretti Claudio Sabelli that have addressed the issue of slow travel. One way to move that has existed since ancient times and allows the closest possible contact with the environment and human beings, that is traveling on foot. From this meeting has been reinforced in me the idea of this type of experience also groped for some years that tickles my mind.
very curious and my involvement has put the company in Brescia Francesco Gusmer, party from his hometown in order to reach almost 30000 km and 16 months in Australia. A unique and incredible life-changing. In fact, after two years there has not yet "converted" to the daily routine and as he said, the "worst thing was to return." Hear the story and see some pictures it was really very exciting.
So I attended a festival with joy and I hope that continues to be held, and who knows, maybe one day I too will be there to talk about my travels.
Ediciclo Congratulations to the publishing house that has realized this.

How To Adjust Steam Heat

Cycling from Vienna to Zagreb

IDEA OF ROUTE

Spring. Reach Francis at home, we must make a decision. The experience of last year has left its mark. Now we are like a drug addicted. All that remains is to decide the route, mode of transportation is confirmed instead. Denmark my proposal, too plain to him that suggests Sicily. Pros and cons to be evaluated.

's enlightenment. "How about from Vienna and drive along the Danube?". This proposal is accepted, we have to work out the details. Belgrade rejected the idea of reaching you opt to finish the round in Zagreb. It will go to Bratislava and then along the Blue River up to Budapest, from here cut in the direction of Lake Balaton Pecs until you get to Croatia and from there ....
In a few days across four different countries with as many capitals. An incredible opportunity to appreciate different cultures and lifestyles and taste the local specialties.

Estate. It is shortly to start scheduled for July 8. Should I replace my bike. The mountain bike last year can not repeat the business. Is unable to support such a trip and then too many failures I do not want to repeat. From my friend Julie and I receive the gift of a decent new mountain bike all in all, it seems that other than perfection. Roller chain, transmission efficiency, no squeaking, the only thing in common over-weight.

I envy a bit 'Francesco with its lightweight racing bike. Lift is by no means an effort for him and then the higher speeds that you always force me to follow him. But I know when to refer back to its hole will force him to intervene and I will be more than a mere spectator or assistant.

rehearsal to test the means. Tour around the lake Bracciano. Everything is fine. 70 km made smoothly and with a good average. Now you just have to wait for the departure. Incredible, but the last time I was mounted on the bike for travel at least several tens of kilometers was last year during the tour of Slovenia. "I'll make it?" A slight doubt that only lasts a few seconds.

the last obstacle remains to find a way to transport a bike on the train. From the internet comes the suggestion. We buy the very cheap plastic sheets, those blue and green to be clear, camping. Simply just remove the wheels, turn the handlebars and you're done.

July 8. I'm at track 3 and appearance of Terms Francis. The speaker announced the cancellation of trains. The rail strike is about to begin and adherence seems massive. I'm glad that my colleagues are joining in the mass, while the other passenger rail curse. A bit 'of concern comes over me, even though ours is certainly one of the trains guaranteed.

Solita Fortunately, our coach is at the bottom. Tens and tens of meters carrying the heavy bundle which has become my bike. "Damn why do you have to weigh that." I am soaked, the train is packed and now we have to fix the bike. We try to place them on the door bundles present in the purposes, wasted effort. Half cab is committed to help us, then the decision. We leave them bound in the corridor all the way and the comings and goings of people intrupperà regularly in our media.

Fabrizio he goes to Vienna with his bike, but then will travel in the opposite direction to ours. We're going to the east. We meet the day after arrival. We talk to other passengers present in the compartment. Our project draws their curiosity and congratulated us. I try to explain that if I do it is to everyone, just have the will and determination and the desire to spend.

few hours of sleep and already the first light of dawn coming through the window. Vienna is coming and our journey is about to begin.

Free Timber Barn Plans

Bringing everything home

Write hot with his mind still dazed and beautiful memories alive is always very difficult, as are the emotions to overtake reason. But I want to share a few lines to make an impact on my first trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, detailed report will follow later ....

A land with magnificent scenery, with blue rivers that flow into narrow gorges, verdant mountains and valleys where there are towns and villages. In short, a nature that will keep you in suspense also because the roads and the railroad crossing just the most beautiful of these scenarios.

Cities like Sarajevo in which are mixed cultures and religions, making it a little jewel with the Arab side that becomes part of the Austro-Hungarian era. Muslims, Orthodox and Catholics who live next to one another again, even if the scars are still fresh. Unfortunately, the signs of the painful conflict that has bloodied the former Yugoslavia are widely seen, both in the hearts and in the memories of people and it will not take long to emerge in the speeches you will do with them. As will remain indelible in your eyes the city of Mostar, with its numerous buildings destroyed and many others damaged by mortar shrapnel.

Luckily the people despite the tragedies and losses have decided to go ahead and live their lives. The numerous bars where you can sip beer or coffee are always full. Beautiful girls are roaming the city streets and music fills many of the evenings. And then there are older people who play all day with a giant chess in the streets. To quote a famous movie I would say that "life is beautiful."

Another one of the dominant themes in these parts is a journey that we all feel nostalgia for the former socialist republic Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Everyone remembers those years as a memorable, happy and carefree. He lived well, work is not missing, health care and education were free. It was also possible to travel around Europe without a visa and bureaucratic problems, but now something that requires large sums, documents and lots of luck. Marshal Tito is still loved and mourned by all.

When I Take Coconut Oil Gives Me Gas

travel slowly. Walking on two wheels for Slovenia

"Are you crazy, you take a heart attack." "I'll never make it." "But who makes you do." The reactions of friends and relatives to travel a little later I started were not positive. But I felt convinced, given the load and, anxious to prove myself and ready to take on a new adventure.
year I say I want to take a trip by bicycle, since during the pilgrimage in Europe I met many people who used this means of transport. Further impetus came from the books of Matthew Europe Europe Scarabelli and E 'East of Paul Rumiz ....
So some 'for fun and almost suddenly the opportunity came, and instead of spending in August and its a deserted Rome went on a eight-day tour of Slovenia. This is also thanks to my friend Francesco, a cyclist more than me, who decided to follow me in this crazy race.
Honestly, some concern to achieve it I had crossed my mind. Worked so hard, although I must admit much less than you might think, but especially great satisfaction. 625 km route in seven days, all done only with the help of his legs and energy.
A tour of Slovenia through a small circular route that started and finished from Gorizia to Trieste, we were able to visit many regions of the Balkan state. A trip slow, very slow, that allows you to get in tune with the environment and people. Travelling by bike 'an incredible opportunity to socialize and to establish that human relationship that should be the norm among men.
I have often had the impression that the cold and ancient means of transport was a useful tool to open hearts and doors of the people. And I must admit that the Slovenes from this point of view did not betray the expectations.
I will never stop thanking all those who helped us: who has supplied water to those who did repair a sudden summer cloudburst, who has freed us two beds in a mysterious hostel now when we were convinced to spend the night in the open to those who have delayed for a birthday party to give us fresh fruit and a drink.
I can not fail to grant a special mention to Franz, Postojna ranger walker and amateur, who never doubted for a moment in rescuing stranded seeing. He loaded our vehicles on the car of his wife and two on us and took us to their destination by nightfall thus saving us from a flood and ready to go wild over our heads.
A report by the human constant alternating only lonely hours spent in the saddle, with the unbearable pain in the ass, but rewarded from the magnificent natural environment that surrounded us.
Walk along the Isonzo seeing in the distance Mount Triglav, along roads bordered by old railroad tracks and mountain streams; die effort to reach the summit of a mountain and then thought to have arrived in paradise enjoying of view as from the top, only to find out about this wonder of a vast, green plain top, through tiny villages and remote greeting the few inhabitants, arriving unexpectedly after a sharp bend on the ancient bridge in Most na Soci, planar for miles at breakneck speed toward the coast, with the Adriatic and closer Venice on the horizon, stopping only to taste some wild blackberries.
In our go I could see that here are many cyclists and that there are a wide culture of two wheels with bicycle lanes in each city, all in excellent condition, and also that wind along the highways .
Overall a journey full of emotion, an experience that I will try to repeat and that everyone can emulate. Do not need any particular physical condition or special technical means, but some advice I would give it. Avoid using a bicycle too bad as I did, alas, it being the very first day the victim of failures that have slowed down the way, but enriching it further. The simplicity of the two wheels also allows readers to be able to fix a simple mechanical defect anyway and at worst can find someone they can do.

Woke Up New Mole That Hurts

Cuba, the island is

Toño invites me to sit at his side. Are 20.10 and like all night watching the news on TV. "This is Ortega, Chavez and such that there Raul." Me points to them one by one as they appear on the screen. I nod, saying that I know who they are. I notes with his two eyes smart, reflects, makes sure he understands what he says and then a flood. This sprightly seventy-eight with an exceptional memory I speak with passion and detail the history of his country and the Revolution where he fought as a stowaway in a pueblo ...
Skip a report on infant mortality in Cuba is almost equal to 0%, smiles at me and says. "Are these human rights? Are no human rights have a house, work, education and health care? The yanquee say that this is not respect human rights but these things to them, for us granted, do not. They are the ones that do not respect human rights "

We meet in the aftermath, are the 20:30 news is over and is now going to rest. I spent three days in his house, three short evening spent talking to José Martí, Julio Antonio Mella, an encounter he had with Fidel. His happiness in explaining increased after discovering my degree in history and passion for Americalatina. We leave you with a big hug and the unforgettable note 3 pesos, the one with the face of Che, which gives me and who kept.

El truck is full. I leave the seat to a pretty girl who travels in the company of her sister and a friend. The schools are closed today and go to the sea. Two female students close to graduation. "After the summer we return to our cities and start working." We explain that here, you've already completed the university workplace, of course, related to studies and so a few months will begin to make the pharmacist.

sitting comfortably sipping coffee in the kitchen of Mariela, a retired professor of chemistry. Her husband is a teacher of English and the daughter in law. A family of academics, very friendly and easygoing. "You know, in Cuba, education is completely free as well as mandatory. There is a primary, secondary and finally the university. All children are required to attend school without paying a peso, even for books. Provides for all the state. " There are then, by province, special schools for sport or music, like that which attended his niece, which is accessed after a selection and you pay a small fee of a few pesos.

It speaks of the importance of the dual educational system. "Only an educated people, can be trained and aware an active and involved in the management of a state. We must ensure that everyone having the best services and technical specialists trained in all sectors. " From talk shows also the social role that school plays in ensuring all children a place to stay together, grow and learn, and assuring a future without the possibility of the phenomena of neglect. "You'll never see here, a child begging or taking drugs. But happy to see them play and study. "

few seconds and initial quell'imbarazzo is already over. I had gone there to bring greetings and a gift for girls and in a moment we are sitting on the couch to chat with everyone. Osvaldo is a taxi driver, speaks of his land that he shot wide and long giving us advice on places to visit. The family is almost complete, in fact as well as he and his wife live there for now, his son and two grandchildren because his daughter in law, being a doctor, is in Venezuela for one of the many exchanges of solidarity of the Cuban government.

of questions we are harassed because they were very concerned about the earthquake that destroyed L'Aquila. In a short time also comes the other niece, a lively girl starts talking to my sister asking for information. Time is not enough for us and come back the next day, now we too are family.

offer us a drink and we can not refuse, then show us several photos and finally back to talk to Cuba We salute you with great sadness, our journey must continue. We exchanged contacts and we pray to call before leaving for Italy to know that everything went well. Osvaldo before we break open a drawer and takes out a book. "This is for you, read it's important," is a collection of writings by Fidel Castro.

The cultural festival in the association is over. An evening spent in the company of young Cuban artists, listening to music and watching short films. Drink and talk. In a few hours will be May 1 and will start the parade with thousands of workers, but many of these young people will go there, and I will be present.

Yoani did 34 years ago and the actress of theater, this is the profession she wanted to do since childhood. Pedro is the director of the company and has its own age. Are not known, but their performances are staged for the theaters of Santiago. For them, this activity is not only a passion but has also become a job.

I'm not thrilled to Cuba and would like to go off the island as did several of their friends. Speaking, however, appears unlikely in Italy as in another country that their love could be transformed into an occupation would end and rather do the waiters or bartenders, as happened to many of their acquaintances. Pedro greets us, walked quietly through the narrow streets of the old town hand in hand with her boyfriend and while I think the same scene in Rome and what might have happened instead.

"I go away from here but I do not think I would find a better place to live. " Manolito involves us in a thorough economic discussion. Former university professor of economics now manages a nice casas particular. There is plenty of questions about the cost of living in Italy, then we talk about the country of Denmark where he was for three months, and they probably would return. It is surprising to discover how we live with our low wages compared to the enormous cost of products and services. "Italy and Spain countries are beautiful, but it sure is hard to live there. There never would come "

concerts fill as the sport life Cubans, none of them could do without it. The music comes from every town square and there are even exhibitions of paintings and sculptures. We can not lose and we throw into the fray.

"Everything here is a joy and pleasure. We have fun and we're fine. " "Quiet here there is no danger, no one is safe and will never hurt you." "The solidarity and respect for the common good." "I turn and see other countries, but why should I go out of here?". "El bloque forces us to sacrifice enormous." "Obviously, we have economic problems and we want to feel better, but will not give up never in all this. " "The revolution will be made day by day."

These are the voices of men and women gathered in a journey to the island.

Cuba, the other possible world

Write to Cuba is never easy, especially in the West. I do not pretend to say that my writing is the absolute truth and objectivity not indisputable, it is simply what I saw, heard, felt. I think intellectual honesty is a duty to make that clear and do not act like many of the Italian press that disparage pennivendoli bringing back the island by the thread and sign the counterrevolutionary propaganda, often writing from Miami and Madrid, and without ever having visited the country.
I spent a month traveling from west to east, observing, talking and standing as much as possible in contact with the locals and what has emerged indicates that Cuba is an island happy, great place to live, not only in the context of Latin America but also in the world .....
The categories with which they are accustomed to think Westerners are not going well here. We live in a society based on capitalism and consumerism unrestrained. Everything is in the consumption function, the important thing is to produce as much as possible and to consume more and more. We are driven to waste and consume unnecessary goods, which abound in shops and malls, but basically we do not need.
Cuba is exactly the opposite, the invitation is to consume are what is needed. Waste is carefully avoided and the production is in line with the needs of the population and not the other way. An example is the concept which explains the absence of advertising. Not a sign, a poster, a television commercial that advertises the brand of a product rather than another. Good riddance!
Education is certainly a source of pride for the island. Illiteracy is practically nonexistent, because where there is even one child should be a school. From primary to university everything is completely free and compulsory education up to about sixteen. The textbooks are delivered at the beginning of the school year and returned at the end so they can be given to other students.
The importance of such a great education system is crucial not only because it is capable of forming citizens with a wide cultural, technical and skilled personnel but also because it is the best way to prevent social degradation. In a moment you will realize this and you will never see, as in much of the world, a baby abandoned on the street or begging or taking drugs or exploited or victims of crime. here is impossible and inconceivable.
Upon graduation, everyone will tell you, it automatically enters the world of work doing a job related to the route taken. In short, it does the job for which you studied and which we aspire. Unemployment is a word without meaning. A bit ' like us, where masses of graduates work in call centers, workers are seeking temporary or permanent employment.
recreational-cultural training of citizens plays a major role. Abound in the city cultural centers, libraries, theaters, cinemas, music, recreational facilities for workers and for children, places for sport. Cubans enjoy mass of these possibilities that are offered at all to nothing.
And how not to mention the efficiency with medical care around the country and even in smaller and remote areas with a highly qualified that often lends his work all over the world.
I was very impressed by the dignity and pride of this people, a people who for fifty years defending itself from attempts of aggression and an American economic blockade that forced him to incredible efforts. Men and women who have a vast collective consciousness and solidarity, who know well the difficulties to be overcome to maintain the independence and freedom won with the revolucion, known to be a beacon for the entire Latin American.
I have therefore noted that the overall quality of life is very high. In addition to everything said so far is in fact added a fantastic natural environment, a lack of widespread social violence. And this is another aspect to be remembered. Cuba is probably one of the quietest places in the world where crime is virtually nonexistent. But not only.
While in the thriving West levels of violence are increasing day by day with murders, stabbings and fights for petty and trivial reasons such as condominium disputes, road, to a look of too much or to approach a girl ; with bullying which is rampant in young people, the spread of racism, xenophobia and hatred towards the other that often leads to aggression, that is with a society increasingly focused on the oppression of the strongest to the weakest and now close to barbarism.
There will not hear anything like that, these facts simply do not happen. There are other values and attitudes that permeate the population such as respect, sharing, solidarity, altruism, civic sense and common good.
Eventually I came to the conclusion that one of the main island, is its main asset. And, tourism, or rather the tourists. While carrying precious money for the economy part of the country also transmit a set of attitudes and ways of doing highly negative. So abolished social classes are the revolutionary triumph, only from an economic standpoint, little rebuilding. Indeed, who has worked in tourism or is in contact, often unable to earn more than other workers.
often in Europe accuses the Cuban government does not respect human rights. But I like some have pointed out, there are human rights have guaranteed housing, education, employment, food, have the lowest infant mortality of the entire continent American, the highest average life of all South America, a health system model, and even more efficient and careful protection of the civilian part of the world? How not to be agreed and noted that this does not happen but in many other countries including the United States and Italy.
course Cuba is not perfect, God forbid, has its serious economic problems and especially its deep contradictions. It would be shortsighted and foolish to say that it is feasible and the best company achieved absolute perfection. And 'the way a lot more to do.
The Cuban people, however, is not willing to give up everything he has achieved but rightly aspire to live better, at ever higher up its own conditions of life, to live a life extraordinary. What better example of socialism!
As Ernesto Guevara said "we won the war now have to win the revolution." Fifty years that they are doing, even quite well, but it is a long process, daily and challenging.

casas particulares, live in contact with the Cuban

enchanting Caribbean island an excellent solution with regard to housing, for those traveling on a independent, is to go to a casa particular . Dwellings of Cubans who enrolled and registered rent one or two bedrooms. Each room has usually two beds and a bathroom and has a cost that varies from 20 to 25 CUC.
In all of Cuba in the thousands, all of good quality and with people who will welcome you in their family often showing excellent tour guides can provide all sorts of information. Recognize these houses by the blue triangle affixed to the door of the stable and writing arrendador in uniform, some in towns like Viñales and Trinidad there are about a hundred .....
A real network of these houses is made by each tenant who will provide you with addresses in each city, will call you to his contacts booked the room and if it is not clear is used to direct you to someone else. In short, a structure of solidarity and mutual support that will prevent you from running out of accommodation and support.
addition to an inexpensive way of accommodation you will have the opportunity to live in contact with Cuban families, to interact with them, to talk, to exchange opinions, to get an idea of how they live. Their protection is always up to you, whatever you ask will always be ready to give aid.
university professors, journalists, professionals, retirees talking with the owners you will often hear you give these answers. A broad panorama of professions, a real surprise for us Westerners, but a normal in Cuba, where social classes are almost non-existent.
Linger a bit 'in the beautiful patios that many of these were home sipping a guava juice , looking at the interesting Cuban TV, reading a magazine or Granma Juventù Rebelde but also chatting with owners and listening to many stories that have tell.
From grandparents to grandchildren, all in the same house, you will often see several generations living together and not miss the opportunity to observe children playing or studying.
Many homes offer the possibility to have breakfast and dinner. Prices are an average of 3-4 CUC for breakfast and between 5-8 per meal. The food is good and abundant, are usually followed by a soup and main course accompanied by various side dishes (tomatoes, cucumbers, fried potatoes, fried bananas, etc.). I suggest to avoid too heavy breakfast and customs different from Italian, better to buy some snacks for the road between the other tasty and cheap (you pay in Cuban pesos).
While you should at least try some dinner. As you wonder what it will ask to eat fish, shrimp, squid and even if prohibited, crawfish. However, while delicious and satisfying, do not just dine in the homes but try the various options that we reserve the island as stalls selling sandwiches in all ways, the delicious pizzerias and cafes.

remembered that Cuba should be lived. stay in casas particulares is certainly the first way, then continue living that offers you the street.
Below is a list of the houses where I was, are all great places with people very kind and courteous, you can stay in them but surely the other will offer the same quality. Remember to always haggle on the price, 20 CUC per room (2 beds) is an acceptable price for both you and for them and for dinner 5 or 6 CUC is the minimum that you can get, try it forever. You can have your book directly from home or staying where you do it, than go directly to yourself and if it he'll be too busy to head to another party.
of any information you need to ask your landlord, you will always respond.
