Muslims, Orthodox and Catholics who live next to one another again, even if the scars are still fresh. Unfortunately, the signs of the painful conflict that has bloodied the former Yugoslavia are widely seen, both in the hearts and in the memories of people and it will not take long to emerge in the speeches you will do with them. As will remain indelible in your eyes the city of Mostar, with its numerous buildings destroyed and many others damaged by mortar shrapnel.
Luckily the people despite the tragedies and losses have decided to go ahead and live their lives. The numerous bars where you can sip beer or coffee are always full. Beautiful girls are roaming the city streets and music fills many of the evenings. And then there are older people who play all day with a giant chess in the streets. To quote a famous movie I would say that "life is beautiful."
Another one of the dominant themes in these parts is a journey that we all feel nostalgia for the former socialist republic Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Everyone remembers those years as a memorable, happy and carefree. He lived well, work is not missing, health care and education were free. It was also possible to travel around Europe without a visa and bureaucratic problems, but now something that requires large sums, documents and lots of luck. Marshal Tito is still loved and mourned by all.
