We left Warsaw from where we took the bus to Vilnius. In Vilnius we stopped 4 days, using it as a starting point for excursions in the neighborhood. I was impressed and fascinated a lot of the baroque old town, its narrow cobbled streets, the jagged skyline from the roofs of many Orthodox and Catholic churches, but especially the atmosphere and its friendly inhabitants. Walking safely to the alleys of the old city and the center, do not miss the great view you have from Gediminas Hill, also a nice thing to do is rent a bicycle at the Tourist Information Center in Vilnius gatvė 22 for the symbolic price of 1 litas (30 euro cents) return by 18.00, and wander the city.

We spent a fascinating day to visit the Trakai, the ancient capital of Lithuania that covers a small strip of land circondatala three lakes. The main attraction is the beautiful red brick gothic castle built on an island and connected to the mainland by a footbridge wood. Enjoy a walk on the main street admiring the colorful wooden cottages and along the coast. Trakai Vilnius is connected with many bus (45m 2.90 Lt) and several trains (40m 2.80 Lt). Another day is spent in visiting the National Park Aukstaitija, the place is not bad with many lakes and forests of pine and spruce but with a single day, considering the time to reach you can not appreciate good and also should have a means to move. Despite everything was nice to enjoy a bit 'of calm in the green, but I advise you to avoid making fools of our paths we have traveled for more than ten kilometers to reach the park from Vilnius, take one of several bus (11 liters) or train (10 Lt) for Ignalina, hence the local bus, a few minutes, take you inside the park, eg. After four wonderful and fun day we left the capital of Lithuania on the Baltic coast dirigendoci, precisely Klapeida. There are 4 buses in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, cost 49 Lt.
